Half Day Camps at Music Center Studios
Who Stole My Dragon?
piano, violin or guitar, ages 5 and older, all levels (classes will be grouped by similar age/level)
Budding musical detectives are tasked with solving the mystery of King Bomblebeard’s missing dragon, Flame, who disappeared from his cave late one night! Students must use their super sleuthing skills to decipher clues from the castle that will be unlocked each time they learn a new dragon themed song to solve the mystery! Each day will be filled with fun musical spy activities including invisible ink, secret codes, disguises, taking finger prints, along with painting a fun dragon project.

Kindermusik is designed to help your child (ages 0-5) thrive. We use the power and joy of music-making to support learning and growth during the years most critical to brain development. Our research-based curricula and interactive music experiences establish a foundation of early learning that supports sustained growth, confidence, and creativity throughout the life of a child. Class are ongoing, new enrollments are welcome to join anytime.

Piano Beginner Bonanza
Ages 4 and older (classes will be grouped by similar age)
Discover the joy of playing the piano and make music your super power in this Super Hero themed camp! This great opportunity is for students interested in learning the basics of music making. Students will gain an introduction to the piano and music basics through games, activities, and hands-on work at the piano all revolving around the Super Powers of Music!

Games Galore

Learning music theory has never been this fun! In Games Galore, students will build their note-reading and music theory skills through a variety of creative and energetic musical games. From rhythm challenges to note-name races and staff-reading activities, each lesson turns important theory concepts into engaging, hands-on play. Students will strengthen their musical understanding while laughing, moving, and working together—proving that learning music fundamentals can be just as fun as playing the music itself!

Mix Masters
piano, ages 6 and older, L1A and higher
Step into the studio and become a Mix Master! In this exciting session, students will explore 16-track sequencers to create their own layered music tracks. Students will learn how to build songs step-by-step by recording rhythms, bass lines, chords, and melodies on separate tracks, then mixing them together to create a full, professional-sounding arrangement. Along the way, students will experiment with different instrument sounds, develop creativity in songwriting, and gain hands-on experience with the technology used to produce music. By the end of the session, each student will have created their own multi-track musical masterpiece!
